WARRANTY TERMS:
-Engines have a 1 year/12,000 Mile Warranty PARTS ONLY WARRANTY.
-Core Exchange (YOUR OLD ENGINE) is Required within 2 Months after our Engine is Received. *The Core Must include the same parts we provided* (We will pay for return shipping of the core)
-Warranty period begins on delivery date of the engine to the repair facility.
-Engine must be installed by a professional shop (Unless Pre-authorized)
-Documentation: VIN#, mileage, repair order(s) must be sent via email after our engine is installed.
-Engine Oil/Filter must be Changed & Documented (Invoices/Not Jiffy Lube) after the First 500 miles. Thereafter Engine Oil/Filter must be Changed & Documented every 5,000 Miles during warranty period.
-Warranty is Void if Engine is Overheated, Oil Change Documentation or Repair Orders Not Provided
-All Cooling Components must be changed such as Water Pump, Thermostat, and all Plastic Piping including Heater Pipe must be replaced or Warranty is Void. Doesn't apply to Ingenium
-All Fuel Injectors must be replaced as well or Warranty is Void. (Only on gas vehicles) Doesn't apply to Ingenium
-Fuel Injectors and Cooling (Install) Kit is available for Purchase to ship with your Engine. Doesn't apply to Ingenium
-Because E85 (Ethanol) attracts water it can create rust and seal breakage over time and if left in the tank for a extended period of time it attracts more Water Vapor and has been seen to cause Engine Damage. E85 is not recommended and Warranty will be Void.
-Warranty is non transferable
-Valve covers are left on for shipping purposes only. Valve covers and Valve cover gaskets must be replaced. Any oil leaks or damages resulting from not doing so are not covered under Warranty. Doesn't apply to Ingenium
DISCLOSURES:
-Our Engines are sold as "Long-blocks"- Block, Heads, Oil Pan, Timing Cover & Internals.
-No Gasket Sets, Install Kits or External (Ancillary) components are provided nor are they Warrantied.
-External parts or (Ancillary) components Examples: Injectors, hoses, water pump, thermostat or original parts from your old engine. These include but are not limited to: alternator, starter, ac compressor, oxygen sensors, fans, wiring, coils, computers, catalytic convertors, belts, radiator
-Jag-Land is not liable for damaged/unusable Catalytic Converters, as they are not lncluded in Engine Purchase.
THESE PARTS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY
IN THE EVENT OF ENGINE FAILURE:
-No warranty related repairs can be performed anywhere without prior approval of the engine supplier.
-If our engine is disassembled in any way prior to our approval warranty is automatically void.
All warranty related repairs that do not require a complete engine replacement (for example an oil leak) must be authorized by us Prior in writing with the shop at a pre-negotiated labor & parts rate that is acceptable to us. If the price is unacceptable we will find a repair facility within 100 mile radius to perform the repair.
In the event of an engine failure that cannot be fixed the car must be towed to a local repair facility. The intake manifold/supercharger must be removed at the cost of the customer. Before any other work is performed a third-Party independent inspector will be sent out by us within 3 business days to assess the cause of the engine failure. If the engine fails and no heat tabs are melted and all oil change invoices and repair orders are provided then we will send a replacement engine within three weeks. We are not responsible for labor costs to change the engine and we are not responsible for consequential damage such as tows, rental cars, transport or anything extra.
